Inklings – an exhibition by Jonny McEwen and Sally O’Dowd,
Vault Artist Studios Gallery & Project Space, Marlborough House, Belfast.

“From the inky depths of the creative minds of artists Sally O’Dowd and Jonny McEwen comes a show that is about ink, inklings, and collaboration.”

Studio neighbours at Vault Artist Studios, Sally and Jonny were keen to explore the use of ink in their recent work, and keen to develop, collaborate and showcase their work together.

Both artists have worked with experimental drawing for many years, both in their own practice and as community outreach through experimental drawing workshops.  The exhibition was an opportunity to bring together their distinct and overlapping practices in one exhibition that took place in the the Vault Gallery & Project Space, and in paste-up form about Belfast’s city centre. 

This exhibition was made possible through the generous support of the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, Vault Artist Studios, Belfast City Council, and Esme Mitchel Trust.
